Privacy policy
This policy describes what information koba42.com collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled. KOBA42 is a Canadian company based in New Brunswick.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site — a contact message, a resource request, an assessment, or a newsletter signup — we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, company, phone number, subject, and message. Form submissions also include basic context: the page you submitted from, a timestamp, and any campaign parameters (such as utm_source) present in the link you arrived on.
Submissions are routed to our internal tooling so we can follow up with you. We do not sell this information.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to understand page views and interactions, such as button clicks and form submissions. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and the data it collects is processed by Google. We use this data in aggregate to understand how the site is used; we do not use it for cross-site advertising.
Browser storage
The site uses your browser's session storage for essential purposes only: to carry campaign parameters between pages during a visit, and to remember that you have dismissed a popup so it is not shown again in the same session. This storage clears when your browser session ends. We do not operate third-party advertising trackers.
Third-party content
Some static assets — fonts and icon stylesheets — load from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts and jsDelivr). Like any web request, those services receive standard request data such as your IP address when serving these files.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries, follow up on resource requests, and operate and improve the site. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site (such as hosting and analytics), and only for those purposes.
Retention and your choices
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our business records. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have submitted, or to stop contacting you, at any time. We aim to handle personal information in line with Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).
